Our
Bauhaushaus
Rational and functional - these are the characteristics associated with the Bauhaus architecture that characterizes the Dortmund showroom. How nice that warmth, naturalness and individuality have played just as important a role since Parkett Dietrich moved in. And how good that the walls of the building, where trucks used to be repaired, were so high that a concrete false ceiling could be installed to create more exhibition space. Today, visitors can stroll across 620 square meters of Landhausdielen and parquet flooring, oak, walnut and exotic wood.
But of course the floors look best as part of the beautifully furnished rooms. For example, the long exclusive planks in the loft-style room that opens out onto the terrace with its beautifully red maple in autumn. "In our parquet houses, it's all about the big picture," explains Regional Manager Harald Sawalsky, "about how you can make your home as beautiful as possible." And the floor is the basis for this.
Parkett Dietrich focuses on timelessness without losing sight of the zeitgeist: "In the past, for example, people didn't want knots in the wood," says the Regional Manager, "today, this natural appearance is just as appealing as a strong grain." Authenticity prevails. Authenticity prevails. By the way, things are pretty colorful here on Saturdays when finger food and antipasti are served in the kitchen. That's when customers get talking to each other, share their experiences and look forward to new ideas.
