Minerale Trowel-Applied Floors –
Seamless, One-of-a-Kind Designs for Floors, Walls, and Stairs

Cloud-like effects, shading, and subtle brushstrokes make every finished surface unique.

There are twelve colors to choose from, each available in Rough and Smooth finishes. Because lighting, room size, and installation have a significant impact on the final look, Minerale should not be selected based solely on pictures or small samples. At our flooring showrooms, you can see selected options on larger, fully installed surfaces.

Two finishes

Rough or Smooth

Both versions are crafted by hand. The difference lies in their texture and the effect they create in a room.

Rough

Vibrant, striking, and visibly textured by hand. Rough lends depth and an expressive character to large surfaces.

Smooth

Calm, refined, and understated. Smooth makes rooms appear spacious without losing their individual character.

What Sets Minerale Trowel-Applied Floors Apart

Seamless Look

Smooth transitions and a spacious feel without a grid of small joints.

Low installation height

At approximately 3–4 mm, the system is suitable for many new construction and renovation projects.

Handcrafted

Shading and subtle brushstrokes make every finished surface one-of-a-kind.

Versatile Use

For suitable floors, walls, and stairs, as well as for use with radiant floor heating

A suitable, professionally inspected substrate is required. Structural movement joints and expansion joints must be taken into account.

Decision Based on the Area

You have to see a troweled floor in context.

A small sample shows a color. It doesn’t show how the floor will look in a room.

Only when laid over a larger area do the artisanal grain, the shades, and the interplay with light and furnishings truly become apparent. In our parquet showrooms, you can experience selected Minerale variants and compare Rough and Smooth.

Frequently Asked Questions About Trowel-Finished Floors

What is the difference between "Rough" and "Smooth"?

"Rough" has a more vibrant, textured surface. "Smooth" has a calmer, more understated appearance. Both finishes are applied by hand.

Can Minerale be applied over existing tiles?

In principle, this is possible if the substrate is suitable. Before making a recommendation, the existing surface will be professionally inspected.

Is Minerale suitable for use with underfloor heating?

Yes. Its low installation height makes it suitable for use with underfloor heating, provided the subfloor and installation are properly prepared.

Is the surface completely seamless?

The surface is finished without joints. However, existing movement and expansion joints must be incorporated and properly accounted for.
