In the middle of Hamburg's Eppendorf district, in a water reservoir of the former streetcar depot dating back to 1931, Parkett Dietrich's newest building was opened in 2015. The staggered storey on the roof of the four-storey building was only added recently. "But this modern extension suits us," says Sales Manager Michael-John Wiethold.

"Because although Parkett Dietrich is rooted in tradition, it is timeless and contemporary at the same time." On this floor there is a fully equipped show apartment with kitchen, living and dining area, bedroom and roof terrace. "Customers feel so comfortable here that they often ask me if this floor can be rented out as an apartment," says Wiethold. A home-from-home feeling that pervades the entire 680 square meter exhibition space. It gets even cozier when the fire crackles in the fireplace during the winter months and you sit at the long table on the third floor, sorting and sketching all the new impressions you have gained while walking through the 25 differently furnished rooms. How about something really special?
The fantastically beautiful, almost black antique floor as a Versailles table, combined here with a modern sofa chair. Or the opposite: a very light floor in the color "Snow White". You can judge whether this looks better as a plank or Vienna pattern on site, as two adjoining rooms are each fitted with one of the two variants. This makes the decision easier than looking at samples. Or even harder, because both look so great! Have you fallen in love with one of the pieces of furniture on display?
